About A Joyful Heart Health
“A joyful heart causeth good health: but a sorrowful mind drieth the bones.” ~Proverbs 17:22
According to the Bible, good health begins with attitude. A joyful attitude!
A Joyful Heart Health is so named because we believe the blessing of health ultimately comes from the Lord and that it is He who inspires our hearts to be joyful, no matter our circumstances. Ultimately, this is where true health begins.
About Kelly Zakariasen
Kelly Zakariasen, CF(Hom) is an holistic health practitioner specializing in classical homeopathy. She began practicing on the Palouse in 2012, focusing primarily on family and women’s health issues. Prior to her work as a classical homeopath, Kelly served as a certified birth and postpartum doula, certified childbirth educator, and certified Happiest Baby Educator. These past experiences provided a solid foundation for assisting women and families for her current homeopathic practice. She is not a physician and does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for specific diseases, but works from a holistic perspective alongside a client’s primary care provider to promote health and increase general vitality and constitutional strength.
After 10 years of private mentoring under a classical homeopath, Kelly received formal and clinical training at the Caduceus Institute of Classical Homeopathy, achieving her CF(Hom) designation. She has continued her post-graduate studies under various renown homeopaths such as Dr. Dinesh Chauhan, Karen Allen, Kim Kalina, and Kate Birch; in November 2014 she received her certification as a Certified CEASE Therapist. In 2015, Kelly became a Certified HP (Homeoprophylaxis) Supervisor and began expanding her knowledge of adjunct therapies through formal training in Professional Herbalism and Gemmotherapy, as well as receiving continuing education in her primary area of expertise, classical homeopathy.
Her goal is to reintroduce classical homeopathic care to the Palouse Region and to provide meaningful education opportunities in natural health to families. Finally, her goal is that people will find help and encouragement through A Joyful Heart Health as they seek natural alternatives for health and well-being.
